Education: Empowering Lives and Building a Better Future
Education equips us with knowledge about the world, transforming it into something better. It shapes our perspectives on life, helps us build opinions, and enables us to form informed views. Information alone cannot lead to understanding without the transformative power of education.
Every country has its unique approach to education, with no universal measure of success. Common metrics include literacy rates, access to education, economic indicators, and government investment in education. However, education remains a fundamental human right, yet millions face challenges accessing it.
Globally, over 150 million children aged 3 to 5 lack access to pre-primary education, with over 80% of these children in low-income countries. In developing nations, the average cost of education is approximately $1.25 per child daily. Financial barriers, such as school fees, textbooks, and uniforms, often prevent disadvantaged students from fully accessing education.
Each Daughter – Teach Daughter
We believe every girl, regardless of race, religion, or background, deserves the opportunity to pursue her dreams and reach her potential. Higher education should not be limited or compromised by life circumstances. With this vision, we have launched the Each Daughter – Teach Daughter initiative.
What is Basic Education?
Basic education includes primary and lower secondary education and extends to various non-formal and informal activities designed to meet the learning needs of people of all ages. This includes developing competencies, knowledge, attitudes, and values as the foundation for lifelong learning and human development. Basic education is not just an end—it is the cornerstone of personal growth and national progress.
Our Vision: Bridging the Gap
We aim to launch an application to connect daughters willing to teach with those eager to learn. Key features include:
- No Age Restriction & No Fee Policy: Open to all, regardless of age or financial status.
- Registration: Aspiring teachers can register as educators, and students seeking basic education can enroll.
- Online Classes: Based on student numbers and locations within a specific city in Pakistan, we will conduct online classes 2-3 times a week.
- Local Accessibility: Classes will be held in nearby facilities such as house portions or community centers, ensuring comfort and convenience for students and their parents.
By empowering daughters to both teach and learn, we aim to create a ripple effect of knowledge, uplifting communities and building a brighter future for all.
